There are various ways you can take a photo you have taken and editing it to make it look really cool. To be honest, ColorSplash didn’t come up with a unique idea to take a photo, make it gray scale, then allow you to make certain parts color to make them stand out. What the folks that created this app was they made a way to perform this task fast and accurately and made it fun and enjoyable in the process! Read on for the full review…
ColorSplash, like a lot of apps in the App Store, allows you to take a photo and make certain parts color. All the apps and programs that I have used prior to this one made it very difficult or made you learn a techy way to perform this task, basically rendering it difficult or not enjoyable. ColorSplash does this effect in a new and easy to perform way, allowing you to simply unleash to natural color from the photo where you swipe your finger, or take it back to gray scale as well. These two tools are simple buttons you push to select.
What’s more is there is a simple “red” overlay you can choose to see exactly what section of the photo will be shown in color while the rest will be in gray scale. The best way to describe it would be to allow you to watch my video review, so please do so at the end of this post, everything will make a lot more sense! Also included within the app is various Tutorial videos that will demonstrate how to use all the feature of the app, a very handy tool to get started!
After playing with this app, I can honestly create a very simple, rough color effect photo in a matter of a couple of minutes. Of course, this depends on how accurate I want it and how difficult the photo is. That said, I can’t think of any reason anyone wouldn’t want this app, it is so awesome and so much fun that I recommend it to anyone who uses the iPhone’s camera to take photos. In fact, using this app will open your eyes to new photos you could be taking!
All in all, I have to give ColorSplash my highest ranking, theĀ covetedĀ 5 star rating! This is the first 5 star I have given out, and it isn’t the easiest to get. I hope everyone enjoyed the review, and be sure to check it out in the App Store!
